- You'll need to be at your stage 15 minutes before kick-off to be mic'ed up and ready to go to avoid delays in the program.

Panel about immigration at the Analog stage, TechBBQ 2024.
Tips and tricks:
- Learn about/get to know your fellow panelists! This can help bridge perspectives and enable a more organic conversation.
- Feel free to comment on what your fellow panelists say, don’t feel the need to be ‘called’ on by the moderator. It is also totally okay to disagree (respectfully) with your fellow panelists - TechBBQ is about considering different perspectives and learning from one another.
- Be aware of how much time you are using to speak, and if you’ve given space to other people to participate in the conversation.
- The less fluffy, the better. Our audiences are excited to hear from you and to learn; the more precise, honest, and authentic you can be, the more likely they will leave that session feeling empowered to make real change.
- We’re excited to hear from ✨ YOU ✨ and not (necessarily) your company!
- Be careful with your use of language: We know how impactful language can be in shaping new ideas or preserving certain sentiments. Sometimes, certain words may not translate well from one language to another, but we ask that you are as conscious as possible of the words you choose to use.
